Milwaukee Air Show

This past Saturday Jim and I took Cole down to the Milwaukee Air Show. Our lives have changed since the last time we spent the afternoon watching the planes fly over, but it was still a lot of fun. Instead of camping out on the beach we found a shady spot just north of Bradford Beach, in the grass. It was less crowded and gave Cole the chance to crawl around and explore.

Living so close to the airport, Cole is very aware of airplanes flying overhead. We can even say "airplane" and he'll look up in the sky and sometimes wave. For the most part he liked watching the Thunderbirds, but there were a few times that they got a little too close for comfort and we had tears and screams. I can't blame the sweet little guy...they startled me and made my ears ring a little bit.
