Happy Holidays!

I can hardly believe that Christmas has come and gone. This past week went by so quickly. We had a busy, yet fun holiday this year. We spent Christmas Eve at Mom and Dad's house in Brookfield. Darryl's family, Aunt Kathy's family, Aunt Gloria, and Gordon were able to join us again this year. Jen and her family went down to visit the brothers in NC so we missed having them around. We opened presents, ate a delicious meal, and sang a few carols. Grandma Jeanne and Grumpa spoiled Cole with a beautiful wooden Zany Zoo Activity Cube and a goofy alien light up toy that scurries across the floor (Willie is terrified of it). Jim and I were thrilled with our brand spankin' new set of pots and pans (much needed) and Willie and Lexa LOVED their fuzzy new dog beds. Thank you, thank you, thank  you.

Santa came on Christmas morning- Cole loved his light up snail, I am looking forward to seeing Kenny Chesney at Lambeau Field in June, and Jim has been playing his iPod on his new Bose speaker dock. It was a relaxing morning before heading over to Grandma Colleen and Papa's house for another gathering. Grandma Colleen was in heaven with her sons together and the grandbabies. We're not surprised that Cole was spoiled from this Grandma too. He's looking forward to using his Around We Go activity center. Liam tested it out and he approved and was showing Cole how fun it is to use.

Christmas evening was spent at Jim's Aunt Kathleen's house. The aunts, uncles, and cousins all got together. This was Cole's first opportunity to meet most of these people. He was such a trooper- especially since he'd been on the go for two straight days. He flirted with the ladies and enjoyed being passed from one aunt to another.

I promised Cole we'd have a PJ day today so we stayed in our jammies all day and snuggled on the recliner. We set up the WebCam from Uncle Jim and Aunt Jackie and Skyped them. Chris, Jen and the gang were all over there so Cole was able to Skype with all of his cousins. I'm sure we'll be doing a lot more of that now that we have it all figured out.

All in all it was a great holiday. I'm disappointed I didn't get more pictures, but we do have a few. I'll have to dress Cole up in his Santa suit this week so I can get a picture of him in that. Not sure how we forgot that on Christmas Eve.
